Her business is an independent certification company that validates companies\u2019 claims that their products and services were made in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt scares me a little that we don\u2019t have a better support system here for manufacturers,\u201d she said. \u201cI think buying American is hard for us to do. We want to do it, but we need incentive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The other business owners, who were invited to represent the area\u2019s small business scene, were able to tell their stories and say what government help they\u2019re looking for, as Vilsack took notes and offered comments and suggestions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s all about opportunity,\u201d he said.
